This is a great place to stay for a larger group. We had smaller children and the outdoor areas and playground were superb for them. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could need for a larger group. Beds were very comfortable. Janice was a very obliging and pleasant host. We have stayed in many holiday rentals and this was easily the best yet. Thoroughly recommended.
What a delightful place, welcoming fire, fruit, and goodies, breakfast supplies. Lovely and sunny and private, nice having breakfast in the sun on the patio. We all commented we will be back again. We all had a wonderful time.
Our badminton team stayed over the weekend. great place ,everything we needed. comfortable, great for large group. Eggs and cereal were a great touch for our breakfast. Fire was great for those cold winter nights.Everyone loved their stay.
Our group of 9 adults stayed Wellington Anniversary weekend, what a great place, so warm and welcoming with just about every facility one could want. Extremely generous crockery, cutlery etc, loved the flowers and fruit bowl. Would be more than happy to return at some future date.
Forget Hastings. Havelock North is the go. Great location. Quiet, beautiful gardens and so close to the village etc. Great hosts and everything you need is provided for. I will be back for a longer stay next time!
What a wonderful cottage. Hosts are so friendly, accommodation immaculate, and the cottage is private overlooking gorgeous gardens. I have already recommended this to all my friends and will definitely become regular visitors. Thank you so much Trevelmond for a lovely weekend escape.
Lovely cottage! We had an awesome two day visit, the complimentary breakfast supplies were wonderful (we couldn’t even come close to getting through it all), the cottage itself was very well provided for, our hosts were absolutely lovely and the weather was sublime. Can easily see this becoming a regular stopping point. Thanks!!
Originally wanted to stay in the 1 bedroom cottage but as this was unavailable Janice suggested we have White Rose Cottage. We would reccomend any of the Trevelmond cottages, they have everything you could need. Very clean and well appointed. Lovely gardens and as an added bonus new laid eggs for breakfast!

Great place – well set up, lovely location, lots of room. We were pretty chilly the first night as the heat pump couldn’t keep up with the winter frost outside but the hosts provided an additional heater the second night so all good then. Recommended.
Fantastic place to stay in Havelock North, will definitely recommend to my friends. We booked the lodge to share with 4 other adults (6 in total) and our 3yr old, plenty of space. Was like a home from home, fully equipped – we even had fresh eggs from the owners chickens for breakfast. Lovely grounds to walk around, sheep right outside the lounge window. Great position to walk to town. Janice was lovely to deal with and we couldn’t have asked for any more during our weekend break.
